Campaign for GMO-free Finland started
There are about 73 farms registered as GMO-free.
The Uusimaa, Kymenlaakso and Kainuu province of the Farmer's Union are declared GMO-free.
14 Municipalities: Espoo, Tampere, Vaasa, Juupajoki, Loppi, Kivijärvi, Saarijärvi, Keuruu, Järvenpää, Kerava, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi, Pornainen and Tuusula have restrictions in using GM food in municipalities´ cafeterias and in growing GM varieties on municipality's fields.
