"Freedom of Choice"-Conference, Vienna 4-6 April 2006

The European Commission together with the Austrian Presidency of the Council held a conference titled:
"Co-existence of genetically modified, conventional and organic crops – freedom of choice" from 4-6 April 2006 in Vienna, Austria.
The proceedings are available at the  official conference homepage.

Along with the conference local and international NGOs and GMO-free Regions around Europe organised the March for GMO-free regions 5th April 2006 to defend the right of GMO free agriculture and released the
 Vienna Declaration for GMO-free Europe also in  German
