Campaign for GMO-free Finland started
There are about 30 farms registered as GMO-free.

The Uusimaa province of the Farmer's Union and the archipelago of Ahven Anmaa are declared GMO-free.

12 Municipalities: Espoo, Loppi, Pernaja, Kivijärvi, Saarijärvi, Keuruu, Järvenpää, Kerava, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi, Pornainen and Tuusula have restrictions in using GM food in municipalities´ cafeterias and in growing GM varieties on municipality's fields.
